Penang, November 5th 2026 – Panorama is once again managing a charter flight program in collaboration with one of its European partners for the 2026 winter season. Throughout the program, at least 4,000 international tourists are expected to arrive through dozens of charter flight departures, with holiday packages ranging from one to two weeks across Southeast Asia.
This time, the charter flight program will run from November 2026 to March 2027, with Penang, Malaysia, serving as the main hub. From Penang, travelers can choose from a range of destinations across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Selected destinations include Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Medan, and Surabaya. These destinations are packaged into thematic travel experiences featuring cultural heritage, history, culinary attractions, and the distinctive highlights of each region.
Southeast Asia remains one of the world's most attractive tourism regions for international travelers. According to compiled data, throughout 2025, Malaysia welcomed 42 million international visitors, followed by Thailand with 33 million, Vietnam with 21 million, Singapore with 16.9 million, and Indonesia with 15.3 million.
Panorama has been handling charter flight programs with European partners since 2016, initially focusing on Bali as the main destination during the summer season. In addition, the company has also offered Phuket and Bangkok as destinations during the winter season each year. Its strategy of positioning Southeast Asia as a multi-country destination in the global market has become one of Panorama's key strengths, particularly through its participation in tourism trade shows and sales missions across various international markets.
To support this strategy, Panorama leverages its operational network across Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. This network enables Panorama to manage various travel requirements directly, ranging from accommodation and transportation to tourism activities, ensuring that services in each destination are delivered efficiently and optimally.
“We continue to strengthen Panorama's positioning as a Regional Tour Operator, supported by our established operational network across Southeast Asia and decades of marketing presence in international markets, including Europe, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, South Africa, the United States, and Canada, as well as markets within Southeast Asia,” said Ricky Setiawanto, Director of Panorama's Inbound Division.
Panorama actively promotes Southeast Asian tourism products and destinations through its participation in various B2B trade shows held in different countries, including ITB Berlin in Germany, ITB Asia in Singapore, World Travel Market (WTM) London in the United Kingdom, Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, IMEX Frankfurt in Germany, and IT&CMA Bangkok in Thailand. The company also conducts direct sales missions to countries that serve as its key source markets.
